The Golden Chain Fraternity (GCF) came into being to bring former students of SAICE together in a constructive action. The vision of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother is our guiding light and contributing in whatever way possible to SAICE and the Ashram is our first priority. Our sphere of activity has also extended to Auroville and our home-town of Pondicherry.

In the past few years The Golden Chain Fraternity has involved itself in a number of projects. Some of these (e.g. Relief and Rehabilitation for the Tsunami-affected) have been initiated and managed by GCFitself while many others are independent initiatives or existing projects (e.g. Archiving of Ashram Music) which GCF has supported financially to the extent possible. There are also activities which GCF has facilitated and helped organize (e.g. Volunteering at Matrimandir).

As yet the scope of our activities is relatively small but as we feel that as a group SAICE alumni can make a significant contribution. We invite your participation and your suggestions. Contact us.
